Hiccups

My beagle, Pancho, gets hiccups often. Is this normal?

You didn't mention how old Pancho is, if he is still a young puppy this would be considered very normal. If he is an adult or older I would take him to the vet to be checked out to make sure there is nothing going on that could cause it. I haven't known of adult dogs who get the hiccups often, only puppies. It is due to the puppies nervous system, muscles etc not being mature yet.
