Question
Yesterday (Saturday Aug. 28) I brought my 4 mos. old kitten Belle to PetSmart for vaccinations.  She received Fel. Leukemia and Distemper along with an oral med. for deworming.  Right after she received these she seemed to be fine.  However, last night I went to go and pick her up and he growled and went to nip me.  This is NOT normal behavior for her AT ALL.  She is the sweetest little girl in the world.  Then this morning (Sunday), I noticed her limping.  When I went to check it out, I noticed that she would not even let me touch her whole right side which is the side she received the vaccinations.  She also will not eat and is very lethargic.

Is this a normal reaction to these vaccinations.  I want to call my regular vet, but it is Sunday and they are not in.

Thank you for your help in this matter.

Answer
no that is not normal. normal is a bit sleepy maybe and not limping and not eating. try putting out a few bites of food and some water, i say a few bites, that way you will know if she has eaten. just make her comfy and let her be alone if she wants. then tomorrow take her to your vet . i dont think its an emergency.
