Tabby or Bengal?

I adopted a 1 1/2 yr. old cat from the Humane Society. Wonderful,playful neutered male! He is spotted black on gray.

He is either a Tabby or a Bengal. With no papers, is there a way I can determine which he is -- Tabby or Bengal?

Hi I did some research and found that bengal cats do not come spotted black on gray.  Here is a website that u might be interested in that tells u everything about bengals http://www.websurfin.com/bengal/

Sounds to me like your cat most likely is a mixed breed but u can still get papers on your cat u may  need to know who his parents are though.
