Kitty Bumps

Question
I have two cats that got from a woman that my mother works with.
She had to get rid of them. She said that they are both half
Siamese, however one looks like a full siamese. This one accidently
got outside and came in with a VERY swollen nose. Now the
swelling is down but he's got little whitish bumps on his nose, and
a couple on his ears. They don't appear to be overly itchy or
painful. Should I take him to the vet or is there something I can do
at home?

Wow, I don't have any idea what this could be!  I'd be worried he's been stung by something.  Personally, anytime I see any swelling or some mark on my kitties that wasn't there last time I looked, I get them to the vet.  Once in a while, the vet says it's nothing to be concerned over.  As a general rule, though, it's something that needs treatment and I'm very thankful I got them in sooner rather than later.
