Question
We have a 4 year old Russian Blue spayed female that does not go out and has no contact with other animals. We have been having her vaccinated every year (3RV and 3RDCP). Do we need to continue to do this? Thanks, Bob.

Answer
Hi Bob!
There is a lot of controversy over this subject.  Some say that it's not necessary to vaccinate every year and that eventually your pet builds up an immunity.  My personal opinion is that you sould vaccinate at least every other year.  That is what I have decided to do. A Rabies vaccine, however, is required by law so you should get one every year.  I must admit that my cats are also indoors only and I do not vaccinate them for rabies like I should.

God Bless,
Becky
