sucking my finger

is it normal for a kitten at 11 weeks old to keep sucking my finger he was weaned off his mum at 6 weeks old instead of 7 weeks old but i dont now if this is normal

No, it is not normal, but it is not so unusual.  Being weaned at 6 weeks is a good time to have them weaned. One week one way or the other in this case would make little or no difference.

So, I would ignore the habit, but not encourage it.  I would also watch out for signs of the kitten chewing things.  It could simply be that the kitten is teething and has found your finger a convenient "pacifier"!
