QuestionMy vet has ruled out any ovarian tissue being left behind. The blood test showed her 100% spayed. But she has gone through two cycles of about 1 weeks (2-3 weeks off) very loud hollering, swollen nipples, rear quarters raised with tail cocked to the side, a lot of rubbing and licking of her bottom, and other symptons that would say she is in heat. Now that I'm told she 100% spayed, what do I do next?
AnswerSheila,
It sounds like she might have an infection. I would try a different vet for another opinion. Obviously that is not normal behavior and it does not sound like a behaviorial problem. The licking of her bottom is a good clue that something is seriously bothering her. Have her checked out and let me know what the vet says.
