Question
Hi

Hope you can advise.
I rescued a 10-12 week old kitten this monday. She has not had any injections as of yet but have made appointment for this monday to have if well enough. She had diaherra on monday and through the week and it is now chronic along with conjunctivitas. Shes very larfargic doesnt want to play which is highly understandable.  I took her to my vets and was prescribed Panacur which has to be given in the mouth once a day 0.2ml. This is day 2 after prescribed medication.  She still has chronic diaherra and is now vomiting aswell. Her appetite is next to zero now. She is getting bony skinny now to.  Worried mum :)

Answer
Tarnya,

Remember, I am not a vet, but, I would make an emergency appointment and get the kitten back into the vet.  The biggest problem in kittens with chronic diarrhea is dehydration.  She may need subcutaneous fluids.

2 days is not much time to allow for any medication to work.  Meanwhile, I would see what your vet thinks after seeing the kitten again.
If she is going downhill, there are things they may be able to do to get her to rally!

Best regards... Norm.
