hello my name is evelyn i got 2 pregnant female cats from a breeder who could not care for them no longer.my one pregnant female is doing good so far she is about to go into her 7th week on friday.well i rub her belly and she rolls over she enjoys it and i can feel the babys moving and kicking inside her belly.i have been around lots of pregnant cats before and i can usually feel there babys move inside them when there almost out of there 5th week.but this time my second pregnant female is quite larger in the stomach then my other female i know the breeder told me the first female is a week further then the other female i am telling you about.i know the second female will be six weeks friday when my other turns 7 weeks.but the thing that is concerning me is the second female that is going into her 6th week in two more days i cant feel her babys moving inside of her belly.like i can the other female i just want to know should i be able to feel the babys move?becouse when my first female was in her 5th week going into her 6th week is when i noticed the movements in her belly.and now my second girl is in the same trimester as she was when i felt movement in her and still nothing i dont feel any babys in her and she is bigger in the belly then my first female that will have babys before her.i dont understand this can you please tell me is this normal?the breeder that gave them to me i know she said something about the second female that i am concerned about i know she said that the second female did have tape worms but she treated them before she became pregnant.but i am not sure if she did i am also concerned that she is pregnant and has tape worms if she does can you please tell me what could happen to her and the kittens.please and thank you so much i very much appreciate it                                                                         evelyn

Hi Evelyn,

I would take the second female to the vet to be checked. You should be able to feel the kits by now.If you think there is a problem then have her checked out. There are a couple of serious conditions that mimic a cat being pregnant. But they are very bad for a cat. Your vet will be able to help you here. Make sure you bring a sample of her stool to be checked also. Good luck.
