cat given birth

My cat had kittens at about 10am this morning.  she had 5 but the first one she delivered died.  My question is it feels and looks like there is another baby in her belly.  Could there be?

I was away from e-mail all day yesterday.  The odds are that there are no more babies left.  If you are not sure, a visit to the vet for a post partum check up would be in order.  The vet should give her an oxytocin shot, anyway, which will clean out the uterus, condition and shrink the uterus and help with milk production.
