Hello Norm. I went quiet on you but I want you to know that I found out about a pet loss sight where they do an online candle ceremony for the pet you have lost and I have joined that. Do you think I'm abad pet owner because somebody said I am a rotten pet owner and shouldn't own pets because I keep losing them. Well excuse me if Toby was run over. That really hurt me. I'm not a bad owner am I? I need to know. The scratches I got off Toby are now scars so I get to keep them.
Danielle. I've got another golden retriever called Dixie and she loves Chance and Chance loves her. She is spayed and Chance is neutered so they can't have puppies. Dixie is 2 years old. One year older than Chance. I don't know if I told you but Chance has gone blind.

The problem with e-mail lists and Internet sites is that they present a very cold medium for communications.  I would ignore the lack of sensitivity of some of these people.

Yes, you had told me that Chance had gone blind, but I am glad you found Dixie and Chance and Dixie are getting along so well.

It sounds to me as if you are well on your way of coming out of your grieving for Toby.
