Unborn kitten?

Question
Good evening to everybody, Yesterday our cat Zoe, gave birth to 5 kittens, and all of them came normally. Thou today we have noticed that Zoe still has a lump in her stomach that sometimes if touched can be felt like another kitten inside, sometimes this lump goes from left to right from her front/back axis, and it really feels like something inside, sometimes this lump just disappears and cannot be noticed since Zoe has been a slim cat, We are very concerned about this, we have read that cats can take some days to deliver the complete litter. Please answer as soon as possible so we can take action faster in order to preserve the integrity of the mother, she is behaving normally, no crying, no panting, no contractions, just meowing and purring, specially if we pamper and caress her, also eating still much and normally.

Greetings

Answer
Eduardo,

My recommendation at this point would be to take Zoe to the veterinarian to have her examined. The vet will be able to determine whether or not she's got any babies that haven't been born yet. Be prepared if Zoe does have one or more unborn kittens the vet will most likely recommend a caesarian section to ensure that complications don't put mom or her unborn baby at risk. If you have any further questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me - I'm happy to help in any way that I can.
