cat birth

my cat had kittens 6 days ago she had 6 kittens and then 12 hrs later she had one that was dead today she has some kinda what looks like the start of a sack comeing out of her i dont know what it is or what i should do she is acting fine and seems like nothing wroung

Hi Stacy,

That may be the afterbirth. Or it could be another kit. Some cats will stop labor then resume it in about 12-24 hours later. Here is a link that might give you some better info.
