shelter at least 10 years ago.
AnswerJudy,
I am so very sorry to hear about your kitty's passing. Unfortunately without the vet performing a necropsy (animal autopsy) there's no way to know for sure what could have killed your cat - it may have been anything from being hit by a car to accidentally ingesting a toxic substance. The average lifespan for an indoor/outdoor cat is somewhere around 5 years, indoor only cats have a lifespan around 15 years or more. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me again at any time - I'm more than happy to help in any way that I can.
Kind regards,
Ali
