They have produced a blue.white girl and chocolate boy. chocolate is on mums side. boy is definately chocolate, breeder has told me its impossible from this mating to have chocolate boy,but unless im colour blind he definately is.please clarify.thankyou

ANSWER: Kes
The Black and White MUST carry to have a chocolate. Lilac is dilute so can carry Chocolate but for a full chocolate to be produced it must be carried by both parents.

QUESTION: ive looked through boys pedigree and doesnt seem to be any chocolate? but this kitten is definately chocolate, unless he will turn black, hes 4 weeks old on saturday/

Answer
He could be black you need to check his nose leather and pads. There may be some black on them and this would suggest a stronger cert for him being black
It is very difficult in the very early days to differentiate black, brown and chocolate unless you know the background of the parents. If you only have black with white and lilac then you can only have blue white and black
