Garlic in Wellness Cat Food

Question
I have read that garlic is toxic to cats.  Therefore, I was surprised to see garlic listed as an ingredient on Wellness Brand Premium Cat Food (both canned and dry).  Is there any concensus on this issue?  Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hi Craig!  Garlic has been said to be beneficial to pets' health, and also to be toxic.  I would not be concerned about the garlic in pet food.  The consumption to make garlic toxic would have to be a tremendous amount.  Pet food has to pass an inspection and an analyzation before being put out onto the market.  There must just be a little garlic in it, which is said to be beneficial to pets' health, since it has passed the testing.  I would not be concerned at all, and have heard nothing but wonderful things about this brand food. I hope this helps!
