cancer in weimaraner

My beautiful spayed 6 year old weimaraner bitch Jodie has squamous cell carcinoma in her lower jaw. For various reasons she is not a candidate for either the amputation treatment or radiotherapy. She also is gluten allergic, slightly incontinent and has a persisitent chronic back injury kept under control with rimadyl and glucasamine-and is very very frightened of vets.
She is still bouncing, running mad headed and happy and we want to keep her that way as long as we can although we are very much aware that this cancer will mean she will need to be put to sleep at some point.
Are there any alternative gentle remedies that we can give her to try and slow down the progress of her cancer? Her quality of life is our main concern and at the moment she is very fit and happy and we want to keep her that way as long as we can. thank you for reading this and we would be grateful for any advise.

I would recommend stopping Rimadyl and starting PIROXICAM which does have some activity against this type of tumor...it is also a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and should help with back pain.

Diet is very crucial...feed an all-natural diet that is free of dyes, preservatives and meat by-products...some food companies to consider...Flint River Ranch, Verus, Solid Gold, Wysong, Wellness, CA Natural, Innova, Precise, Eagle Pack...  Also supplement with fresh veggies, raw chicken and plain yogurt.

Vitamin Supplementation...
Ester C with Bioflavinoids....1000 mg twice a day
Fish Oil...1000 mg twice a day
Garlic...one clove a day
B complex...50 mg twice a day
Coenzyme Q10...1 mg per pound daily

Also IP6 is known to kill cancer and I would recommend giving that in combination with Transfer Factor.  There is a Canine Complete product made by 4Life that is excellent for immune support that combines both of these plus a whole array of other supplements in an all-in-one formula.  I would start that at double the labeled dose and also add in the human Transfer Factor Plus at 1 capsule twice a day
