Fur Balls

Question
I have a long haired cat who spends a good share of his day grooming himself. He also hacks up a lot of fur balls. I brush him and feed him the so-called fur-ball control formula dry food, but it does not seem to help.

Answer
Hi Al!  Try Kitty Malt.  It's sold at just about any pet store.  It comes in a pump tube and can either be put in your cat's food, licked off your finger, or on his nose (which he will lick off).  It's thick and goey and helps lubricate the digestive system to help those hairballs pass.
I hope this helps!
