Question
Ihave an Alaskan Malamute, who is over 50 pds, when I got her they gave me
her heartworm med that was for her weight at the time. I have 3 meds left
and was wondering if I can give that to her, because she's due for one, or
do I have to buy her a new pack thats for her size?

Answer
You should buy the tablets that are for her correct weight.  However, if you are giving Interceptor, then 2 pills in the yellow box, which is 26-50lbs, would be the same as 1 pill in the white box, which is for 50-100lbs so you could give 2 of those for this month.

If you are using another product, you will have to call your veterinarian for instructions.
