insect bites and my dogs

I have two dogs. They love the outdoors but my question to you is... What can I put on them so they will not be bite by mosquitoes or other insects as I know to many bites will harm their health and I love my dogs..If there is some sort of  home product I can use please let me know  Thank you  .... Ellen

Hello Ellen,

I would recommend Canine Advantix as this product is applied once a month and is labeled for flea, tick and mosquito protection.  Some people will use citronella collars or Avon Skin So Soft, but I do think that those things are not that great.
