loss of body fluid control

We have a 13 year old springer spanial mix. that a few months ago starting loosing blader control, she would leave puddles on the floor after 6Pm just last night she lost bowel control. Is this a sign of ageing like her difficulty going down stairs, or can we do something to help.

She probably has some degeneration of her nerve function.  However, I would recommend an examination by your veterinarian and some blood tests to rule out any underlying metabolic disturbances.

You can start giving her B-complex vitamins--25 mg twice a day, Choline 40 mg a day and MSM 750 mg twice a day to see if that helps her.
