Fungal/Bacterial/Viral Infection on paws spreading to rest of body

My 12 year old lab/spaniel mix has been fighting the above-referenced subject since late February.  He was diagnosed with diabetes the day before Thanksgiving and this could likely be the root of the problem.  For the first few months we treated him with antibiotics, Malaseb solution and washing his feet regularly, the problem was isolated to his feet.  Ringworm was part of the "triple punch" diagnosis he received when samples from his feet were taken and tested.  For the past month, we have been taking him in for Lyme Sulfer dips as part of his regiment, in an attempt to attack the problem.  It seems a little better, but my dog is still in great pain. To lubricate his feet we also apply Neoporin a couple of times per week since they are cracking and bleeding in spots.  Is there anything additional you can recommend?  Do you have any comments on the described treatment plan?  Any help or insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

The lyme sulfur should be great for the fungus topically, but you can also use ketoconazole or itraconazole orally to work from within. If the feet are cracking, then using an oil like alpha kerri may help.  If this doesn't help, ask your vet to do a biopsy to make sure that it is not something else.
