Licking! HELP!!!!

Hi!  I have a 7 year old germand shepherd.  He contantly licks the couch, all the pillows, everyones legs and arms, he licks himself and licks everything ALL DAY! He even sometimes licks the hardwood floors!  What can I do to stop all of this.  Hes even coughing up hair balls and throwing up because of his licking.  Is this because of stress or whats it from and how do i stop it? Otherwise than the licking issue, his health is perfectly fine .

Hello!

Licking and eating foreign objects is highly caused by a mineral deficiency. It may also be caused by stress as you have mentioned. I would advise a multi vitamin-mineral supplement, especially with calcium and phosphorus.
