gaseous kitten

my 6month old kitten is still farting a lot and she has been de-wormed twice at
the vet.  She eats science diet dry kitten food, so why is she farting so much? It
smells awful!

Kittens can have some trouble digesting certain substances leading to flatulence, for example many can be lactose intolerant.  If she is not being given milk, you may wish to try a different kitten food to see if her system processes it better.  However she may just need time to grow out of this phase and as her system develops the unpleasant emissions should decrease.
