leaking pregnant dog.

Well, she IS leaking!  This is her first litter.  She's about 4 yrs old.  Large breed (lab/shepherd).  I couldn't figure it out at first, but after finding large wet spots where she had been lying, I watched to see what was going on.  Today I found she was "puddling" right where she was lying.  I take her out for potty breaks a few times a day, but this is ridiculous?!  Is this a common occurance or should I take her to the vet?

The larger the dog, the larger the litter. She is probably having hormone problems associated with the incontinence. There isn't a lot you can do until she whelps and you get her spayed. The sooner you do that, the less her chance of getting mammary cancer and uterine infections.
Once she has the puppies she will probably stop leaking, but once they are weaned get her in to be spayed.
