my son and his girlfriend have a shitzu (cloe) she was in her boom when i let her out she had a clear substance coming from her mouth which included alot of her own saliva last night my other son brought home a new puppy JRT and cloe was very defensive she was in her owners arms, but she wasnt defensive the next morning, she does not have and she could not get rabies and i really believe its not that kind of moistier coming out, but there is alot is it nerves. Thank you just concerned

The only way she can contract rabies is by being bit by a rabid animal or breathing in infected bat dung that is aerosolized.
If she is current on her rabies vaccinations you have nothing to worry about.
