old disk injury

I want to know if you can have surgery done on an old ruptured disk with any success 3 years old. he can walk sometimes but not always and he no bladder control. Thanks

Usually a surgery three years after the fact is not going to be as successful as one done right away after the injury.
That doesn't mean there is no hope. How long has he been without bladder control? How old is the dog?
Have you talked to your vet about this?
I would consult with him/her and see what your options are.
