cat odor

Question
I have a male cat/kitten born in December.  He is not neutered (we are planning to). He only urinates in the litter box (yeah)He is not prone to spraying either. My problem is the smell of his urine, it is terrible!!  The odor is very acidic and is stronger than the smell of poop.  So strong that if I am home I must scoop the litter box immediately and spray some sort of air neutralizer.  if I am not home the smell greets me upon entering the door.  I feed him Purina one for kittens and do not feed him table scraps though he does sometimes eat/steal a few pieces of dog food. (mighty meat).  Is there anything there a supplement or food I can give him to keep the urine from smelling so bad?

Lisa, yes, we need to get this boy to drink more water.  Also, I will suggest a good supplement for him.

As for water, please put a few ice cubes in his water dish each day - it will keep it fresh and cold.  Make sure you give him new water every day.

Next - Let's give this boy some Salmon oil - Pure salmon oil can be found at the pet stores - give him 1 teaspoon per day, mixed into his food.
