Lab pup left rear leg injury

Question
Our 8 week old yellow lab pup, that we have only had for two days was climbing on the couch and fell off sideways onto some soft carpet. On impact she started yelping for quite a while. She now is calm but will not walk and pulls that leg up close to her body. She will not put the leg down. When I palpate the lower bone and foot, she doesn't seem bothered. When I try to feel her hip and upper leg she doesn't cry out either, but she will not bear weight. She is just laying down continually for the past 3 hours since the accident. When she is laying on someones lap if they try to adjust her on their lap, sometimes she will cry out.
I am not sure if I should give it some time, or just go straight to the vet. Any advice is welcome!!

Answer
Apologies for delay. Computer broken. If she is not better by now you do need to see a veterinarian preferably an integrative one. If you will go to my website wwwchristinachambreau.com to learn some things that will help your pup stay healthy and send me an email through the sit and ask for more info. Or look at other ask the expert answers as I give a lot of the same info to everyone.

If you did not go to a veterinarian today because your pup is better, your can get help by looking for reiki treatment.  It can be done from a distance.
