Weed Control Safe For Dogs

We have two dogs that go out into our back yard on a regular basis. I wanted to spray some weed be gone on the lawn for weed control but we are concerned for the dogs. Do you know of any product that would do the job and be safe for the dogs. Thanks.

You have a right to be concerned. Most of these sprays are very toxic to animals.

Round-up and other such chemicals claim to be safe once they have completely dried on the lawn but I would personally never use them around pets.

You will have to go to your local nursery and ask them about 'safe' chemicals for lawns. I have no knowledge of any.
