bitch in season

My 10 month cockerpoo has just started her first season 6 days ago. This morning she seems to have a slight trouble in urinating. Is this a side effect of her season? She is not spayed yet, we were awaiting her first season. Otherwise she is fit and well

There really shouldn't be a correlation between going into heat and trouble urinating.  I guess if there was some swelling in her vagina or if she is licking excessively, she may have some discomfort or a urinary tract infection.  You can have her urine checked by your vet to see.
