Lumps & Breathing trouble

Question
I own a 12 year old Pomeranian female dog. we have noticed lumps around her stomach. These are visible and can be felt on her skin. She also has heavy & a bit noisy breathing when she sleeps. the local vet has ruled out surgery due to her age. what can I do to reduce the lumps and improve her breathing?

Answer
Without knowing what kind of lumps they are there is no way I can even suggest anything. If she has mammary tumors then they can only be removed via surgery. If she does have them, she has mammary cancer and that could have gone into her lungs which is why she is having trouble breathing.

But I am not there and I cannot say definitively of what she has. If she has clear lungs as shown on an xray, then her breathing issues are from her weight or her age.

I'm sorry that is about all I can tell you. Your veterinarian is your best source for this information.
