white worms all over glass

Question
i have white worms that are all over the glass and live in the sand.  Fish died about a month ago.they had white spots and one after another.  fire shrimp is alive so i am in need of help thanks

sounds like you have a parasite problem.  The white spots are a good indicator.  You should remove all livestock from your tank and place them in a small quarantine tank that has the bare minimum (hiding places, heater etc).  If the parasites have nothing to feed on they will die-off in 2-3 weeks.  Another method is to add a copper sulfate to your tank but you HAVE to remove all invertebrates cause this solution will kill them.  Plus all gravel and live rock/carbon needs to be removed as well because they will absorb the copper medicine.  Buy a copper testing kit as well to measure the copper in your tank this process takes about ten days to remove the parasites.
