Lighting??

I have an 80 gal SW tank fish only, exploring coral stuff. I have a flourescent fixture with 4 bulbs. I bought the aquarium bulb at walmart and when I put them in the tank looked yellowish now to pretty. So I put in a normal one just to make it a whiter look. I need better bulbs but have no idea how to find out the right combo. There are 20-30 different bulbs to choose from? Any suggestions?? Thanks Jeremy

you wan't to choose bulbs by their Kelvin rating, a 10,000K tube is very white and a 20,000K tube has a deffinate blue tinge. best mix i find is 3X 10,000K tubes and 1 actinic (which is very blue) or if you like the bluer tint go for 2 of each.
