basically lost a chromis

Question
One of my chromis stay away from the group there belly is inflated and it has missing scales. Also when it gets near the others they attack it is it sick or getting close to the end of it's life or is it just an outcast.

Sorry to hear about your chromis.

IT definately sounds like nature is exhbiting natural selection and strong will survive strategies.

If you think it is inevitable then it might be wise to cull the little fellow prior to it suffering.


Best methods to cull fish is to place into a plastic baggie and freeze him for an hour.  then into the landfill..


Make sure you test water to make sure you dont have any ammonia or nutrient issues if the fish dies in your tank.
