My dragon fish is breathing air!!!

Is it normal for a dragon fish to stand up on its tail, and stick its face out of the water for 20 minutes and not die?

Hello Ariel,

I am not familiar with dragonfish personally, and have asked one person/friend that does.  

They have seen thier fish 'gulp' air before, but not keep it's head out of the water for 20 minutes.

I suggest you might have found the missing link... hehehe

I will be speaking with another dragonfish friend later on this weekend and ask her also.  If i get any more info I will ammend this answer...
