how do i cure my reef tank of ich?

Hello Brian.

Actually I dont know if it is possible to CURE ich.

You can treat it, you can keep it under control, but you cant really cure it, (unless you drain your tank and dry everything out)

But to keep it under control, (if you already have it), I would suggest a UV light.

I would also suggest a healthy diet for your fish.  This means a variety.  Lots of vegetables, like Nori/seaweed.  You can even feed reguralr vegatbles like leafy spinach or broccoli..


If you have Ich already and it is noticable on your fish, (probably your blue hippo tang), then I would treat with some product. (there are many and they all work well).

I have had friends that have used and swear by a product called, 'Kick-Ich'

but again, they all should be fine.
