bring goldfish inside for the winter

Question
I bought about 100 goldfish and 3 koi this summer for my newly installed 3000-gallon pond. Before the winter comes, I decided to bring them into a stock tank in my garage. We have tried to get them out of the pond for a week, but we only got 7 using a net.  I already drained most of the water from the pond, but they are still hiding and not one fish in sight.  What should I do to get them out?  I am afraid they will die soon.  We live in Minnesota.

Answer
Hi,
It looks like the only way to get them out will be to completely empty your pond and get in and net them, I hope your inside stock tank is large enough for all those goldfish and koi and that you have a good filter for it and plenty of aeration.
George.
