Pond aerator installation

Hi Leigh,
I just bought a house with a 1/2 pond. A lot of weeds growing in the mid of pond now. I found a aerator in the garage the previous owner left there. I plug it on and it works. I plan to put it back to the pond, but no instruction.
Please advise,

Hey, Jim, An aerator recirculates the water all you have to do is plug it in and let the stream break the surface of the water. Is this similar to an aquarium pump? Does it have an outlet big enough to support a fountain nozzle? It should be at leat 3/8 inch pipe thread.
