electric water pumps

Hello my name is Bobby. I have a small farm in north Texas, and i am trying to pump water from a small natural spring to a pond on my property. i know this is off subject from pond pumps, but just wandering if you might know what direction to send me. thank you in advance for any help. Bobby

You'll probably want a pump that says it can handle solids and a good pump rate.  My farm pond page at http://www.fishpondinfo.com/farm.htm lists a few companies that cater to larger ponds.  Not only do they sell a lot of the larger pumps and ones that can handle solids but they can give you advice on your situation since they work with larger ponds all the time.
