Question
Can i put a little bluegill about 3 inches long in with my gold fish and algae eaters, when the bluegill came from a local river, without wiping out all of the fish?

Answer
Hello Jacob!
In general it is not recommended to introduce wild fish into the pond. These fish could carry diseases or parasites that could absolutely spread to your pond fish.
At the very least quarantine the fish in an aquarium for about 3 - 4 weeks to try and make sure it is healthy. Even that is not a sure way to protect your pond population.
