Question

waterfall barrel I have a 20x25 water pond and the watefall is made out of 55 gallon barrel the top of the barrel shows and it drives me crazy? i have cut a board and set a containter/potted plant but after awhile it rots. I don't like the hole showing it doesn't look natural? got any ideas? faux rocks are too expensive?? thanks

My pond Hey Shelly. first off,your pond is beautiful. I like the barrel idea. I have something similar but I dug a hole and put in a liner. I tell you what I would do that would be cheap. I would build up around it with smaller rocks then get a somewhat flat rock and lay it across the back and stack smaller rocks around it. The back is what is really showing and then you could stack smaller rocks on the flat rock here and there. Keep moving them around until it looks natural. If that won't work instead of using a wooden board get cement board at Lowes. Thanks Eric
