feeding my acara

Question
I have 2 blue acara about 4-5cm (male and female) but am not sure how much i should feed them.They are only small so i feed them a fair amount of food 1 a day.
The pots of food all sugest to feed them 2-3 times a day but i think once a day is enough for 2 small fish.But i could be wrong!
Could you tell me if i should feed them more?

I have one tank with three small angels that I only feed once a day and they are doing fine, and their tank isn't polluted! I would actually recommend only feeding once a day for smaller tanks/fish. On occasion (maybe once a week), give your fish a treat later in the day of something such as blood worms or brine shrimp.
