2 gal hex tank

Question
Is there anything I can do with a 2 gal hex tank. After a bad experience with a celestial eyed goldfish that my local pet store said I could keep in it, it has been sitting empty. I have a male betta in a 5 gal and he loves it. It would be nice to keep something in there but I fear it would be cruel to  just about anything. Any ideas? I thought about some really small tropicals but I don't know if I can get a reliable, accurate heater for such a small tank. the one I saw for that size didn't even have a temp listed for it. What do you do watch the thermometer and turn it on and off as needed? I don't get it.

Answer
HiYa!

The only thing I would recommend putting in your 2gallon tank would be a Betta. The 2 gallon is actually the perfect size for him and he would love it and because it's not a huge expanse of water, as long as it was in a warmish part of your house, you wouldn't need to worry about heating the tank.

I wouldn't put ANYthing other than  a Betta in that tank as it's just too small.

Cheers!
