Hi...I have some mollys and dont know if she is preg, she is huge but only her belly. I think I can see eggs, I'v had her for 1 yr now. How do I know if she is prego and when will I know she is gonna give birth? What are some signs??? Please tell me all I kneed to know... Thanx Katie.

Hi Katie;

Mollies have live babies about every 4 to 6 weeks. When mollies are ready to release their babies they get a "boxy" look to their bellies. The bottom and sides get a little bit flat. It is usually only a matter of 3 to 7 days once you see that. They hide more too, trying to find a safe place to drop them. It usually happens in the early morning before dawn.
