Question
I have a green dotted puffer fish. I was wanting two Beta fishes and I was wonder if they could all get alone in a 10 gallon fish tank. Just let me know if I can or not.
Thanks so much

Answer
Hi Ashley
I saw your question in our question pool.

No, not a good idea at all.  Green spotted puffers are not a community type of fish, and most likely will kill your betta and really do best being alone in the tank.  Not to mention they're a brackish water fish, and requiring just about full marine/salt water conditions when they're adults-and bettas can't handle brackish water.  Here's a link with some info on care for green spotted puffers:

Hope that helps!
