Placostomos

What to placostomos eat?  A friend has been deployed and left a fish tank with just a placostomos in it.  Does it eat regular fish food or just algae?  Can it survive without other fish leaving their debris?

They will eat a standard flake food such as Tetramin Tropical Flakes. They will also eat algae from the side of the tank. You can use some food with green such as Spirulina flakes and supplement their diet with Algae wafers.
