Question
I had a pregnant molly. she delivered her babies. The tinfoil barbs ate all the fry's. I wanted to ask whether the Mollies deliver all her babies at a single time? or do they deliver in batches?

Answer
Hi Salman;

They usually will deliver all of them within a couple of hours. Mollies are very prolific however so expect to see more every 6 weeks or so. Even if there is no male fish with her she can have babies from previous matings for up to a year. Mollies and other livebearers have the ability to "store" the sperm inside until it is needed.
