green on the inside of my fishtank

Question
We have a 10 gallon tank with 2 goldfish who are doing quite well.  We have a filter and change water 25% at a time.  Even though the water is crystal clear, you cannot hardly see the fish due to all the green that grows on the inside of the glass of the fish tank.  It is hard to scrape off but we do monthly which is still not enough.  Thank you, Nicole

Answer
Hi Nicole: it is algae... use a razor blade to get rid of it... one you have the glass clean try to clean the glass on a weekly basis... the green algae is easier to remove before it adheres to the glass... you can get a scrubber brush at the aquarium... keep me posted... dave
