24/7 fish light

Question
Well I had a late night and forgot to turn off my fish tank light! Will my fish be okay? And my normal red/white light for the tank died so i got a fluorescent light... can i use the fluorescent one? thanks

Hi Tim

Your fish will be fine if you just left the tank lights on overnight. I keep my lights on timers, so that's something you might think about. The fluorescent light is fine, but natural daylight lights are better for your fish.
